Up and idling in three steps

  1. Link your Steam account

    Sign in on Steam’s own website so we know which account is yours.

  2. Scan the QR code

    Approve the sign-in with the Steam mobile app. It works with Steam Guard, and you can revoke it from Steam at any time.

  3. Pick games and press Start

    Choose up to 32 games from your library. They show as in-game on Steam within seconds.

Common questions

Do you need my Steam password?

No. You approve the sign-in with the QR code in the Steam mobile app. We only store the session Steam gives us, and you can revoke it from Steam’s “Authorized devices” page.

What happens when Steam updates?

Steam disconnects everyone during updates. We reconnect your account automatically as soon as Steam is back, and every 30 minutes the AutoRestarter restarts any account that should be online but isn’t.

Can I play while idling?

Yes. When you start a game on your own PC, Steam pauses our session. We start idling again once you stop playing.

How does the IDLERMACHINE code work?

It takes 50% off the first month of any package. It works once per Steam account, so creating a new website account won’t let you use it again.
